• esVolta battery facility gets greenlight from Pinal County, with Court Rich, Rose Law Group's director of energy & utility infrastructure and the firm's co-founder, presenting the case (roselawgroupreporter.com) — A major new 800‑megawatt battery storage project in Pinal County has been approved, and the developer is also working on a separate project in Florence. The Cactus Wren facility, west of the Nissan test track near Maricopa, will store electricity when prices are low and release it during peak demand, which backers say could help stabilize regional power costs and reliability for nearby communities.
