Man arrested after woman dies in fiery head-on crash in Litchfield Park (azfamily.com) — A Litchfield Park woman was killed in a fiery head-on crash near Camelback and Litchfield roads, and the other driver has been arrested on manslaughter and DUI charges. Police say speed and impairment are suspected factors, and the man from Phoenix is being held on a $500,000 bond. Residents who travel this busy corridor may notice ongoing investigation activity in the area.

ASU's Jordyn Tyson makes 2025 AP All-America team (arizonasports.com) — A hometown connection popped up on the national stage as Arizona cornerback Treydan Stukes, listed from Litchfield Park, earned a spot on the AP 2025 All-America Third Team. He joins Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson and dozens of other standouts recognized for big seasons across college football’s top programs.
