PHOENIX, AZ – A 28-year-old woman was hit by “at least three vehicles” while attempting to cross Indian School Road near 81st Ave. mid-block and on foot Tuesday around 6 p.m., Phoenix police reported.

None of the witnesses who actually saw the first crash into the pedestrian could be found by police, so the first hit-and-run driver and vehicle remain unseen, unidentifiable and at large.

One witness told police they saw what was thought to be the second vehicle striking the pedestrian — also a hit and run. The second vehicle was described to police as possibly a Chevy pickup truck, but the vehicle’s color was unknown.
