Authorities Respond To Water Rescue

PHOENIX, AZ — Rescue teams were called to the area of 91st Avenue and Baseline Road Friday night for a water rescue.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, technical rescue teams from multiple cities were on the scene of the water rescue at about 8:20 p.m. No additional details were immediately available.

A flood warning is in effect for the area until 5 p.m. Saturday. Flooding of unbridgeable crossings across the Salt and Gila rivers is imminent or occurring, according to the National Weather Service.
