AZ Family Wins $108M Mega Millions Jackpot
Three family members from Lake Havasu City plan to split the winnings among themselves.

LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ — A Lake Havasu City family that plays the lottery every week finally won big, with a $108 million Mega Millions jackpot, according to a news release from the Arizona Lottery.
The winners, who chose not to be identified publicly, are a married couple and the wife's brother.
The three winners buy $60 in lottery tickets together every week. They bought the winning ticket Oct. 20 at Desert Martini bar in North Lake Havasu City. When one of the family members checked their quick pick ticket after the drawing,“I was jumping up and down and screaming,” he said, according to the Arizona Lottery.

This was the second Mega Millions jackpot won in Arizona history.

The three plan to use their winnings to buy a motorhome, which they already planned to do, but are now looking at something a little nicer. When the time is right, they plan to quit their jobs and travel the country.
The couple also plans to pay off their mortgage, buy a new truck, help their kids and possibly take a cruise, Arizona Lottery said. The brother is considering taking a trip to the Maldives, but the 30-hour trip to get there is holding him back. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and an avid amateur scuba diver.
The family plans to continue playing the lottery together, according to the news release.
