Chance Of Rain All Week Long In Phoenix, Including New Year's

The biggest chances are on Tuesday and Thursday night and all day Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

PHOENIX, AZ — It's looking to be a wet week in Phoenix, with chances of rain beginning Monday night and continuing through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

A 40 percent chance of showers begins late Monday night, with an 80 percent chance of showers Tuesday and a continuing slight chance of showers during the day Wednesday. Chances of rain increase to 50 percent Wednesday night into Thursday, with another increase to 70 percent Thursday night into Friday, according to the weather service.

There's a 40 percent chance of showers on New Year's Day with a chilly low that night of 36 degrees.

Leading up to the holiday, highs are expected to be in the upper 50s or lower 60s, with lows in the 40s.
