Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:
- A new community market is creating space to support women entrepreneurs. Heart and Soil People’s Garden is an urban garden in south Phoenix that feeds families, teaches the importance of farming in urban areas, and supports women-owned businesses. Keep your eyes out for the next market and produce giveaway, planned to happen from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Apr. 15. (Cronkite News)
- A new homeless shelter that caters to older adults is coming to Phoenix this year. Circle the City, which provides health care to the homeless, has seen an increase in homeless seniors with memory loss and dementia-like symptoms. Solutions for this population are limited in Phoenix. Dr. Yvonne Patterson and her team hope to see more resources for seniors soon. (KJZZ)
- Drone food delivery debuted in nearby Mesa from metro Phoenix restaurants. Announced on Wednesday, Flyby Robotics has raised $4 million in seed investment funding for the first delivery-by-drone trial run, delivering food from MAD Greens, Tokyo Joe's, and Nekter Juice Bar. The trial is live and customers can download the Flyby app to place orders at participating restaurants. (The Arizona Republic)

- Keep an eye out for delays and debris around 40th Street and McDowell Road. The cause of the fire is still undetermined. (Phoenix Fire Department via Facebook)
- The city and county are seeking resident feedback. Maricopa County is conducting a survey to better understand the health of the community. By taking the survey, you can help identify common community health needs and improve residents' health and well-being. The survey will close on May 31. (City of Phoenix, AZ USA via Facebook)
