Double House Fire Extinguished At 35th Ave And Bell Road: PFD

Smoke was rolling into the air from the house fire on Wednesday morning in Phoenix as two houses on Grovers Avenue burned.

PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix and Glendale firefighters extinguished a double house fire near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Bell Road Wednesday morning, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

The fire started around 9 a.m. at 3320 W. Grovers Ave., department officials said. The fire was extinguished by around 10:15 a.m.

The fire displaced two people from one of the houses. The other house was empty, as it was being renovated. No one was injured in the fire, the department said.

Phoenix Fire Investigation Task Force was on the scene late Wednesday morning working to determine the cause of the fire.
