Driver Dead In Wrong-Way Crash With Commercial Truck On I-10

A car was headed east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Phoenix early Wednesday morning when it collided with a truck.

PHOENIX, AZ — One person is dead after a wrong-way collision on I-10 in Phoenix early Wednesday morning, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened when a car that was headed east in the westbound lanes of I-10 near U.S. 60 collided with a commercial truck, a department spokesperson said.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the department.
