Four Arrested In Connection To Shooting Death Of 19-Year-Old Man

One teen and three adults were arresting in connection with the death, after they tried to cover up the accidental shooting, police said.

PHOENIX, AZ — The shooting death of a 19-year-old man prompted the arrest of one teenager and three adults, according to Phoenix police.

Adrian Rufgio Beaulieu, 19, died at the scene Tuesday night in an apartment near 7th Avenue and Alta Vista Road, according to police.

Police believe a 16-year-old boy, who they did not identify, accidentally shot Beaulieu and three adults attempted to cover it up, police said.

Deanna Silva, 36, Daniel Ruelas, 20, and Eric Buchanan, 38, in addition to the 16-year-old boy, were all arrested in connection with the shooting, according to police.

Police were called to the scene around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police claim that witness stories about the shooting changed several times during interviews and that the people who lived in the apartment where the shooting happened hid evidence before police arrived at the scene.
