PHOENIX, AZ — A newborn infant boy was found dead Sunday afternoon in the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant in Phoenix at 3200 W. Indian School Road, according to Phoenix police. An unidentified woman was seen on surveillance footage leaving the bathroom before the baby was found, police said. Police are asking for the public's help in finding her.

The baby was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called to the restaurant around 2 p.m. Sunday, police said.

The newborn's death is being investigated as a homicide, according to police.
