Former St. Luke's Hospital, other workers just might be able to find a job at a massive hundreds-of-jobs Phoenix healthcare hiring event.

PHOENIX, AZ — A Phoenix healthcare hiring event Thursday will bring hundreds of job opportunities for the 500 displaced former employees of St. Luke’s Hospital, which shut its doors Nov. 24. Other healthcare workers are also welcome to apply to the dozens of potential employers at the Arizona@Work-Phoenix healthcare hiring event too. And the event is open to all Maricopa County workers, not just those living in Phoenix.

The massive healthcare hiring event takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the B Building of the GateWay Community College-Central City campus at 1245 E. Buckeye Road in Phoenix. Recruiters will be on hand from HonorHealth, the Mayo Clinic, Abrazo Health, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Maricopa County Human Resources and other medical providers and organizations.

All the organizations in attendance will hire employees or accept applications for jobs such as therapists, specialty nursing and case managers, and other licensed positions. Other job opportunities will also be available including operational support positions such as maintenance, food service and housekeeping.
