Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show In Glendale March 4-6
This year's event features a new immersive experience called "Glow Scapes," which offers ideas in landscape lighting.

GLENDALE, AZ —The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show will take place at State Farm Stadium early next month, and this year's event will feature a new immersive experience called "Glow Scapes."
The show, billed as the largest home show in the southwest, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 4-6, and once again will feature hundreds of home improvement, design and landscaping ideas, products and services.
New this year is "Glow Scapes," which will give visitors a chance to experience the vibrant possibilities of landscape lighting.

"For the first time ever at the Home Show, you can wander through a full immersive sensory experience in the "Glow Scapes" exhibit, created by local landscape architects," said Katie Jones, show manager.
According to show organizers, the colorful "Glow Scapes" exhibit will be cultivated by Hedgeworks and illuminated by Arizona Lighting Design.

The show is full of other attractions, and all are free with admission. These attractions include:
- Handmade Headquarters: Make-and-take crafts, including body butter and bath salts, essential oils, colorful candle making and more.
- New DIY Suncatcher Class: Add some glitz to your backyard with a handmade suncatcher. Creatively Phoenix will guide you in choosing and assembling your charms into an eye-catching wind ornament.
- DIY Demos and Seminars: These include: tips to keep your roof in tip-top shape, saving money with solar energy, clever ways to maximize storage, and how to avoid mosquitos.
- Spring Deep Cleaning Tips and Tricks: Make the most of your spring cleaning. The experts from Coconut Cleaning will share their insider tips and hacks to make your home sparkle.
- Design Your Backyard Oasis: Get a free walk-up landscape consultation and take-home design with the landscaping professionals at Horticultural Frontiers, a value of $350. Don't forget to bring your existing backyard pictures and measurements.
- How to Create a Magical Water Garden: After a three-year hiatus, the Greater Phoenix Pond Society returns to educate about water gardening and fish keeping for people looking to add a statement feature to their backyard.
- Dog Adoptions: Maricopa County Animal Care and Control return after two years away.
Daily admission to the show is $8 for adults and $3 for children ages 3 to 12. Children 2 and younger are free.
Between 10 a.m. and noon on March 4, seniors (60 and older) can gain admission for $5. Customer Appreciation takes place between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday and Sunday, when admission is $5. Military also can gain entry into the show for $5 each day with a valid military ID.
Attendees with March birthdays also are invited to visit the information booth for a special birthday gift. They will be asked to show ID.
Additionally, people who donate a new durable leash to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control receive two free tickets to the Home Show. Donating a new, durable dog collar is good for one free ticket. Visitors who donate a new 50 count of puppy pads also receive one free ticket to the show.
According to organizers, there is free parking on-site and the show will feature a large food court.
