Phoenix Could Hit 100 Degrees Tuesday: National Weather Service
The Valley could see its first 100-degree day of 2022 this week, with warmer-than-normal weather predicted for most of the week.
PHOENIX, AZ — Things are heating up again in Phoenix with a chance of hitting 100 degrees for the first time in 2022 on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service's official forecast puts Tuesday's high at 99 degrees, but the Phoenix metro area has a 35 percent chance of reaching 100 degrees, the weather service said.
The weather service expects warmer-than-normal temperatures for most of this week, with a high of 93 Monday, 99 on Tuesday, 96 on Wednesday and 94 on Thursday.

The week is expected to be sunny, with breezy conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, the weather service predicted.
Temperatures are expected to cool slightly on Friday, with a high of 89 degrees, and then to warm up again on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid-90s. Lows this week are forecast in the 60s.
