Phoenix Could See 100 Degrees By The End Of Next Week: NWS

We might not hit 100 degrees, but no matter what temperatures are expected to be well above normal for most of the first full week of April.

PHOENIX, AZ — Temperatures are expected to heat up next week in Phoenix, with the possibility of reaching triple digits, according to the National Weather Service.

While reaching 100 degrees next week is far from a certainty, the weather service put Phoenix's chance of reaching triple digits next Friday, April 8, at 26 percent.

The weather service is much more certain about a warming trend next week that gives Phoenix a 60-80 percent chance of reaching highs above normal next week, beginning Tuesday. That will likely means highs in the 90s for much of the Valley.
