Phoenix Dad 'Always Puts Us First,' Daughter Says

PHOENIX, AZ— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Phoenix, meet Richard Nave JR.

What makes your dad extra special?

I appreciate my dad because he taught me and my sister how to fish and to fix my cars. He would talk to us if we did anything wrong, and ask us if we had questions about things that we saw. He always put us first. He always made sure we were safe. He cares about us a lot. He made sure nothing would harm us and I really appreciate that. I love my dad to the moon and back and will never ever stop. My dad is still alive and I'm so grateful. He's in his late seventies. I just want to say a big big thank you, hugs and kisses and I hope you have a great day. I love you so much to the moon, Pops. You're my number one dad!

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

He always makes sure we're good and safe. He is the top dog. Pops here's to you and many more Father's Days!
