Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today:
- Stevens-Leinweber Construction completed the 160,000-square-foot logistics center they were building for packaging provider, Georgia-Pacific. The Phoenix Logistics Center is set to house the HP PageWide T1190 Press, the world's largest high-volume digital pre-print solution for corrugated packing. This device allows Georgia-Pacific to offer 110-inch wide web digital inkjet printing for high-graphic packaging. (KTAR.com)
- On Saturday, Mar. 27, the Phoenix police said two suspects were arrested in relation to the body found inside a dumpster that was set on fire earlier this week downtown. The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Isaiah Baskin and 23-year-old Larry Scott, and both are booked into Maricopa County Jail. The male victim has not yet been identified. (The Arizona Republic)
- In the midst of water shortages, the Arizona Department of Water Resources will hold its first-ever Water Awareness Festival at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza on Saturday, Apr. 1. The festival will showcase the department's partners, and ensure residents have the opportunity to ask questions and talk with various water providers. Participants in the festival include SRP, the City of Phoenix, and ASU. (KJZZ)
