How do you know your graduating student nominee?

My daughter

Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!

She was a 2016 of LTHS. She completed her Doctorate of Musical Arts with emphasis on Oboe Performance and a certificate in Music Theory. Her dissertation topic was reed making I using alternative materials. She was selected to give a lecture on this topic at the International Double Reed Society Convention in July in Flagstaff, AZ.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

Her professors were impressed that she completed her doctoral degree in 2 years. With the amount of research that her dissertation required, it would have normally taken 2 1/2 to 3 years to complete the degree.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Kelsey!
