Phoenix Native Studies Abroad For Part Of Summer

A Phoenix native studied in Granada, Spain this summer as part of Bradley University's Study Abroad program.

PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix’s own Abigail Ihrke, a Business Administration/Finance major, spent part of her summer break studying in Granada, Spain. The Eden Prairie High School graduate’s Study Abroad curriculum focused on Spanish studies.

Study Abroad comprises faculty and students who embark on intensive, short-term scholastic programs outside the United States. The benefits include enriching students’ lives and broadening their perspectives, fostering personal and intellectual risk-taking and providing career benefits in today’s increasingly global economy, according to a press release.

Located in Peoria, Illinois, Bradley University is a private university with 5,400 graduate and undergraduate students and more than 185 academic programs.
