PHOENIX, AZ — In a rather unusual case of auto theft, 29-year-old Kimberly Vasich scaled a Phoenix Fire Station’s fence, then stole an ambulance. When she got to the West Madison Street area, she didn’t stop for police. She then drove the ambulance to south 9th Avenue and crashed into a chain link fence. The Phoenix PD reports using spiked strips in the incident.

No injuries were reported, and Vasich was taken into custody and booked on charges of theft of means of transportation, burglary and criminal trespass.
