UPDATE: Phoenix Police Arrest Dunlap Ave. Homicide Suspect
Phoenix police say the suspect identified in the Dunlap Ave. homicide has been arrested. They also identified the victim.

UPDATE: Sammy Williams, 23, was arrested by Phoenix police Wednesday near 20000 N. 35th Ave. around 8:20 p.m. He was booked into jail on a murder charge, Phoenix police Sergeant Margaret Cox reported.
PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police Wednesday about 4 p.m. identified the victim and suspect in a fatal shooting Saturday at 3400 W. Dunlap Ave. in Phoenix. The suspect is Sammy Williams, 23, whom police formerly recognized as an unidentified person of interest in the case. Police also identified the victim: Deonsay Adams, 30.
Police reported previously that the suspect and victim had a short argument before the shooting occurred. After the shooting, the suspect fled eastbound on Dunlap Avenue driving a light-colored passenger car.
