After highs in the upper 90s last week and over the weekend, the Valley will get a short respite midweek, before temps begin to climb again.

PHOENIX, AZ — If you're looking to do some outdoor activities this week, Tuesday and Wednesday are your best bet, with highs expected in the 70s after an unseasonably warm weekend with highs in the upper 90s.
The high on Tuesday is expected to be around 74, a full 12 degrees cooler than Monday's high of 86 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Tuesday is expected to be breezy, with a southwest wind of 10-15 mph and possible gusts of up to 25 mph.
The overnight low on Tuesday is expected to be a chilly 48 degrees, with the high on Wednesday a temperate 76, the weather service predicted. The wind is expected to calm on Wednesday, with a breeze of around 5 mph.

Temperatures are expected to begin warming back up to around normal for this time of year on Thursday, with an expected high of 83, and then a high of 90 degrees on Friday, the weather service said.
