Monday's high was 82 degrees, marking the 24th day this month that reached 80 degrees or hotter. The original record was set in 1949, according to the weather service.

If the city reaches 80 degrees Tuesday, that will set a new record of 25 days in November that made it to 80 degrees or warmer. The expected high Tuesday was 81 degrees.

The typical high for this time of year in Phoenix is 70 degrees. The record high for Nov. 29 is 85 degrees, reached in 1924 and 1999.

Monday night's overnight low was 53 degrees, 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.
