Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Stabbing Her Mother: Police
The woman is accused of stabbing her mother while her mother was driving, causing a crash.

PHOENIX, AZ — After asking for the public's help finding her, police arrested a 27-year-old woman on Friday who was suspected of stabbing her mother while her mother was driving, causing a car crash, according to police.
Brenda Villela was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, burglary, endangerment and criminal damage.
Villela is suspected of stabbing her mother around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of South 7th Avenue, police said. After the crash, Villela is accused of fleeing the scene. Her mother was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but as of Thursday was in stable condition, police said.
