Rollercoaster Temperatures In Phoenix Over The Next Week: NWS
Highs were forecast above normal midweek in the Valley and were expected to drop to normal or below by the weekend.

PHOENIX, AZ — It's going to be a toasty few days in the Valley for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service.
The expected highs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Phoenix were 85, 86 and 86, respectively, the weather service predicted.
Average temperatures in the Valley this time of year are in the low to mid 70s. Although it'll be much warmer than normal for early March, the weather service does not expect that Phoenix will be setting any records since the records highs for this week are in the low 90s.

But don't get used to the warm weather just yet. As a cold front pushes through the area on Friday, highs are expected to drop dramatically to the low 70s on Friday and Saturday and may even dip into the upper 60s on Sunday, the weather service predicted.
Weekend overnight lows are expected to be in the mid-40s and temperatures are expected to remain below normal for the following two weeks, the weather service forecast.
