Silver Alert Issued For Elderly Sun City Man With Medical Issues

A Silver Alert has been issued for James Dean Trissel of Sun City, who was last seen leaving his house at 8 a.m. Tuesday, MCSO said.

PHOENIX, AZ — A Silver Alert has been issued for a 74-year-old man with major medical issues, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.

James Dean Trissel was last seen leaving his house on west Boswell Boulevard in Sun City at 8 a.m. Tuesday in a 2015 red KIA Sorento SUV with Arizona veteran disability plate, number 22C4S, the office said.

Trissel is six feet tall and weighs 280 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he was last seen wearing.

It is not known where Trissel, who has heart arrhythmia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and type 2 diabetes is, though it is believed he may be heading to Las Vegas, where his daughter lives, according to the office.

Trissel is supposed to be on oxygen and medications but it does not appear he brought any with him, the office said.

Additionally, Trissel also displays signs of PTSD and/or dementia and has become violent over the last week, according to the office.
