Trump To Make 'Address To Young Americans' June 23 In Phoenix
The announcement of Trump's visit to Phoenix comes as polling shows Republican Senator Martha McSally trailing badly.

PHOENIX, AZ — Donald Trump is heading to Phoenix this month. The visit, announced Wednesday by the campaign group Students For Trump, touted the June 23 appearance as "An address to young Americans." Details on location and time have not been disclosed.
The trip isn't a surprise. Earlier this week, Trump mentioned Arizona among the states he plans to visit as the campaign season moves into a higher gear. He's also planning visits to Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, and North Carolina.
While Arizona deeply-red state, Trump's win 2016 was followed by Democratic gains in 2018, as the party flipped four statewide offices. Meanwhile, in Arizona's critical election for U.S. Senate, Republican Senator Martha McSally is struggling to pick up support against Democratic challenger Mark Kelly.

According to a June 3 Fox News poll, Kelly, a former astronaut, is leading McSally by 13 points. That gap that hasn't moved much in recent weeks. In April, while remarking on polling that already showed nearly a 10-point lead for Kelly, pollster Mike Noble told Arizona Republic political columnist Laurie Roberts, "McSally is doing terribly."
