PHOENIX, AZ — The city of Phoenix could set a record for the most days that reached 80 or more degrees in November, according to the National Weather Service.

This week is looking to be unseasonably warm, with highs near or above 80 degrees every weekday. The expected high on Monday was 81, with highs expected to reach 80 on Tuesday and Thursday and 82 on Wednesday.

If it reaches 80 degrees or warmer on Monday and Tuesday, that will set the new record at 25 days that hit 80 degrees or more in November, according to the National Weather Service. These highs are 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, the weather service said.

Highs on Friday and Saturday were expected to be slightly cooler at 79 and 77 degrees respectively. The week is expected to be sunny during the day and mostly clear at night with lows in the mid to lower 50s, according to the weather service forecast.

It's expected to be dry all week.
