PHOENIX, AZ — Get ready for the possibility of rain and cold next week, Phoenix.

The National Weather Service predicts a sunny and breezy President's Day, with a high of 73 degrees and light, variable winds of 5-10 mph, with possible gusts of up to 20 mph.

Breezy weather is expected to continue Tuesday, with a high of 69 degrees and winds of 5-15 mph, and possible gusts up to 20 mph. The Tuesday night low will be around 45 degrees, with a 30 percent chance of nighttime showers.

Showers are likely Wednesday, the weather service predicted, with mostly cloudy skies and a significantly cooler high around 59 degrees.

The chance of precipitation in the Phoenix area on Wednesday is 60 percent. Rain between amounts between .10 inches and .25 inches is possible. There is a continuing 30 percent chance of rain Wednesday night, with an expected low around 39 degrees.
