Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today:

  1. Luisa Hendricsen, 32, was found dead with gunshot wounds in a parking lot in West Phoenix early Sunday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department. The suspect is still at large. Detectives responded to the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road after midnight, where she was pronounced dead on the scene. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151. (KTAR.com)
  2. Kathryn Hansen, 27, was arrested Saturday on first-degree murder charges. Hansen was arrested on suspicion of killing Aaron Byous, 41, of Phoenix, in January, and Keith Emmons, 32, of Mesa, in February. Both men died of gunshot wounds. Police searched for Hansen and asked the public for any information that would help with her arrest. She was eventually taken into custody and placed in jail following a nearly two-month investigation. (The Arizona Republic)
  3. Phoenix police and fire officials are searching for two men who went missing in the Salt River Sunday morning. The men were believed to be kayaking or paddleboarding. A passerby heard the two men yelling for help at the riverbank close to 19th Avenue and Broadway Road around 10:30 a.m. The bystander then ran to a nearby Circle K to call 911, but when they returned, the two men had vanished. Attempts were made to find the two men, but they have yet to be found. (Arizona's Family)
