  1. The Tempe Community Action Agency has been given $146,000 by Scottsdale this year. The funds are part of the city's contributions to provide support to the thousands of vulnerable residents. The City Council approved more than $1.9 million to fund the support during last month's meeting. Click for the full list of agencies funded by the money. (Daily Independent)
  2. Jonathan David Riggs, a Scottsdale-based massage therapist, had his Arizona massage license terminated after allegedly inappropriately touching a client. Riggs has been convicted of two counts of sexual abuse by Maricopa County Superior Court. He is scheduled to be sentenced later this month. According to court records, he committed the crimes while working at Scottsdale's Coyote Bodywork. (AZ Central)
  3. A Scottsdale Realtor climbed Mount Everest while raising funds for Arizona children's charities. Clayton Wolfe performed the dangerous climb in May. He raised $14,000 through the Scottsdale 2030 Club by selling 140 golden tokens prior to his climb. He is trying to summit the highest mountain on every continent while cross-country skiing through both poles. (ABC 15)
