Here are the top three stories today in Scottsdale:

1. Scottsdale Community Partners' back-to-school programming is providing supplies to Scottsdale students to prepare for the upcoming school year. The program distributed supplies on Wednesday. Students received a new backpack filled with supplies, socks, underwear, bras, and clothing. They also received a shoe voucher provided by the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association. 2. Scottsdale is a study site for a new investigational treatment for Alzheimer's disease. The study will be focused on determining the safety of a single intravenous dose of ACU193 against multiple doses. The treatment targets toxic amyloid-beta oligomers. (Daily Independent)
3. A recent report by York-IE indicates that Scottsdale is the fastest-growing city in the country for startups. The study reports that key Scottsdale startups received $507 million in the fourth quarter of 2021. Miami, Florida was listed as the second fastest-growing city followed by Waltham, Massachusetts.
