  1. Scottsdale-based notMYkid nonprofit has received a portion of Maricopa County's grant. The county's grant program provided funds for 18 different groups. The grants ranged from $50,000 to $500,000. The nonprofit provides families with resources and early intervention programs to support youth during today's challenges.   3. The ashes of a former astronaut that died in Scottsdale are heading to outer space aboard a memorial flight. The ashes of Australian-born Dr. Phillip K. Chapman are scheduled to blast off on Nov. 30, 2022. Dr. Chapman's original flight to space got canceled almost 50 years ago. He will finally get off this rock, reports his wife Marie Tseng.
