- Tomorrow is the 2022 Primary Election. Scottsdale voters will determine three Councilmember positions. A candidate must acquire a majority of votes to be elected during the Primary Election. If a candidate does not acquire a majority, the position will be determined during the Nov. 8 General Election. (City of Scottsdale)
- A Maricopa County woman has been charged with animal cruelty after the Arizona Humane Society rescued 31 chihuahuas from her property. According to the shelter, the dogs were living in deplorable conditions. Jennifer Knutson was arrested by the Tempe Police Department. She is reportedly a hoarder. The dogs are being tested for a range of highly contagious diseases due to how they were rescued. (WHSV)
- A Massachusetts man was arrested on Friday for sending a bomb threat to the Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs. She has received multiple threats after the investigation into Maricopa County's 2020 election. Hobbs is also not the only public official that has been threatened — all of the county's election supervisors have received death threats. (The Miner)
