- The Maricopa County Elections Department accommodated disabled residents during this year's Primary Election. The department issued 17 braille ballots and 276 large print ballots. The special election board also visited 102 individuals. The special election board works with nursing homes, hospitals, and rehab centers to ensure that voters have the opportunity to cast a ballot. - Chef Joey Maggiore and his wife Christina are introducing two new restaurant concepts in the Scottsdale area: The Rosticceria and The Italiano. The Rosticceria, coming to 12811 N. Tatum Boulevard, will feature an Italian rotisserie wood-fired grill. The Italiano, located at 9301 E. Shea Boulevard, will feature Maggiore's Italian heritage through a casual concept. - The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in Guadalupe, about 15 miles from Scottsdale, on Monday morning. A 15-year-old boy was killed during the incident. He was pronounced dead on the scene of the shooting. The department has not located a suspect, but the investigation is still ongoing. (KTAR)
