- The Maricopa County Attorney has issued a cease-and-desist letter to GOP candidate Gail Golec. She was urging voters to steal pens from polling locations through her social media accounts. Golec was spreading the false narrative that the county's pens bleed through ballots and create "ghost votes" by marking other ballots. The county switched from Sharpie markers to felt-tip Pentel pins to reassure conspiracy theorists. (Arizona's Family)
- JoJo's Shake Bar is opening in Scottsdale Quarter in early 2023. The Chicago-based concept serves shakes, onion ring towers, and milk & cookie flights. It also has sandwiches, burgers, and various entrees on the menu. It will open in the former Stingray Sushi location. (MOUTH BY SOUTHWEST)
- The Maricopa County Health Department is prioritizing the county's LGBTQ community in distributing the Monkeypox vaccine. Some residents are concerned that the policy is creating a stigma around the virus. Maricopa County has reported 37 Monkeypox cases since last Friday. Arizona has had a total of 50. (AZ Family)
