- Yelp has reportedly downsized its Scottsdale office. The downsizing is due to employees working from home. The office has been decreased by nearly half. The tech company has closed offices in New York, Chicago, and Washington. (The Arizona Republic)
- A Scottsdale lawyer has won $11.75 million from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. The payment is related to a case involving a former inmate at the county jail that sued the department for failing to protect him while ignoring his medical needs. Attorney Tony Piccuta's settlement is believed to be the largest settlement ever paid by the county. (East Valley Tribune)
- The Scottsdale City Council candidates met on Jun. 22 at City Hall to discuss their ideas. The candidates are competing for three open seats on the council. The candidates discussed budget issues, development projects, and short-term rental plans. (Daily Independent)
