- The Arizona Coyotes are starting a youth Street Hockey League. The inaugural program is set to start on Saturday, Sep. 17 at Gilbert's Burk Elementary School. Participants will spend 45 minutes building skills then play for 1 hour. The league is a 10-week program meant for children between 7 and 13 years of age. (NHL)
- The Maricopa County Health Department has confirmed 3 positive cases of measles. This highly contagious virus can be fatal. The confirmed cases were in 1 adult and 2 children. The department reports that the individuals were "connected" and unvaccinated. Since 2006, 67 cases have been confirmed in Arizona. (AZ Central)
- Scottsdale-based PXG has released its 2022 Fall/Winter Apparel Collection. The collection has a golf lifestyle at its core and has been designed to ensure that wearers are "ready for anything.” There will be three drops through the season: "The Essentials," “The Edit,” and "Coming In Hot.” (First Call)
