• Surprise beefs up its veteran services (yourvalley.net) — Surprise has hired a full-time veteran resource navigator at the Surprise Resource Center on Bell Road to help local veterans, service members and their families access benefits and support. Omar Lopez, a veteran with 25 years’ experience, is available by appointment or walk-in during expanded weekday and third-Saturday hours. Residents can also tap into the West Valley Veteran Success Center and other city-run support programs at the same location.

See 210 Swim Jobs You Might Love (swimswam.com) — A new head coach position is open with Surprise Storm, the City of Surprise’s competitive club swim program, offering a chance to lead a growing team at the local aquatic facility.
