Comedian Heather McDonald Collapses On Stage In Tempe
The comedian fractured her skull when she fell three minutes after she went on stage Saturday night. She was taken to a local hospital.

TEMPE, AZ — Comedian Heather McDonald was only on stage at Tempe Improv for 3 minutes Saturday before she collapsed, fracturing her skull, according to a statement posted to her social media accounts.
As of Sunday, it was unclear what caused her to collapse, according to the statement.
McDonald's representatives said that she didn't drink any alcohol before the show and that as of Sunday tests revealed no medical problems that might have caused her to pass out. At that point, McDonald was still in the hospital with tests underway.

McDonald performed Friday at Tempe Improv without incident and spent an uneventful Saturday morning with her son, according to the statement.
McDonald is best known for her appearances on "Chelsea Lately" a show for which she wrote and produced. She currently runs a pop culture podcast called "Juicy Scoop" and has a standup special on Amazon Prime with the same name.
