“Tempe Neighborhoods Together (TNT) has created an active partnership with those who serve the needs of the impoverished and food insecure. There is significant need in our community and Tempe neighbors have been willing to help,” said Judy Tapscott, a member of TNT’s food drive planning committee in the news release. “The collection of 6,100 pounds of food in the last food drive has shown this to be true. The needs continue to escalate.”
Tapscott added that she hopes Tempeans will continue their generosity.
