Officials describe more than 400 arrests as “stunning,” while the bar disputes police numbers and emphasizes its ID-scanning system as DLLC reviews possible penalties.

• NASA's Perseverance Mars Rover prepares for new sample collection at Lac de Charmes (primetimer.com) — Tempe readers might appreciate that ASU’s School of Earth and Space Exploration, right here in Tempe, helped develop key sensors for NASA’s Perseverance rover. Those instruments are now supporting a new sampling campaign at Mars’ Lac de Charmes region, where the rover will collect olivine-rich rocks to better understand the planet’s geological history and past water activity.
