TEMPE, AZ — The masterminds behind one of South Tempe’s staple restaurants, Sweetest Season, is gearing up for another round of cooking classes from Local Food Fight.

“When we started Local Food Fight last year, our main goal was to uplift the small business community and get everyday people involved with local happenings,” Chef Melody Elkin, owner of Local Food Fight, said. “We are looking forward to a new season of cooking classes and our second amateur baking competition to continue our mission.”

This year’s cooking classes kick off on July 7 at 6 p.m. with a Charcuterie class, following the popular online trend of crafting aesthetic cheese boards for gatherings and celebrations.
