Memorial Day Weekend: Tempe Swimming Pools Open Saturday
The city of Tempe's swimming pools open at three facilities on Saturday morning. Here's what to know about the weekend's schedule.
TEMPE, AZ — City-owned pools in Tempe will open their doors to the public for the first time since 2019 on Saturday.
Kiwanis, Escalante and McClintock pools will open to the public at 8 a.m. Saturday, operating daily until 10 p.m., the city said.
Additionally, the Waves at Kiwanis Pool will operate from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. each day.

The open swim period at Escalante Pool will happen Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with sessions that run from 1:30-3:00 p.m. and 3:30-5:00 p.m., the city said.
Open swim at McClintock Pool runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and 7:30-9:00 p.m., and 1:30-3:00 p.m. and 3:30-5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
