1. What's being built along Elliot Road in south Tempe? (azcentral.com) — A new 16-acre industrial park, Nexus Commerce Center, is rising at Elliot Road and Hardy Drive in south Tempe, bringing three large Class A buildings suited for manufacturing, R&D, and logistics. The former call center site was bought in 2023, and construction is underway with completion expected sometime in 2026, though tenants haven’t been announced yet.

4. Treasures 4 Teachers eases out-of-pocket burden (westvalleyview.com) — Tempe educators can stretch their classroom budgets at the Treasures 4 Teachers Resource Center, where discounted supplies, free zones, and $5 Fill-a-Bucket deals help stock local classrooms year-round. Memberships, a mobile T4T On Wheels program, and donations at the Tempe location support teachers across Arizona while promoting creative reuse and sustainability.
