Portions of I-10 In Tempe To Be Closed This Weekend

TEMPE, AZ — Get ready for more I-10 closures this weekend, between Highway 60 and Loop 202.

Westbound I-10 will be close from 10 p.m. Friday to noon on Sunday and eastbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Saturday through 4 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the city of Tempe.

On ramps to be closed include:

• Westbound I-10 between Chandler Boulevard and Elliot Road.
• Westbound I-10 at Wild Horse Pass Boulevard.
• Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) ramp to westbound I-10.
• Eastbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) ramp to westbound I-10.
• HOV ramp from westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to westbound I-10.
• Eastbound I-10 between Broadway and Ray roads.
• Westbound Highway 60 ramp to eastbound I-10.
• Eastbound I-10 HOV ramp to eastbound Highway 60.

The recommended detour for those headed east on I-10 is to exit onto Highway 60 and head east to Loop 101, then south on Loop 101 to westbound Loop 202 to return to eastbound I-10.

Those headed west on I-10 should continue east on Loop 202 to Loop 101 and then head north on Loop 101 to Highway 60 and head west to return to I-10 west.
