Tempe business PROShred Arizona gives back for the holidays
Valley residents donate to PROShred Arizona's Shredding with Santa event benefiting Operation Santa Claus toy drive

A line of cars formed at the Sanderson Lincoln dealership in North Phoenix as valley residents enthusiastically donated toys for kids in need this Christmas at PROShred Arizona’s Shredding with Santa Claus event on Saturday.
Dozens of Valley residents donated toys to Operation Santa Claus during the two-hour event in exchange for PROShred Arizona collectively securely disposing of over 3,200 pounds of their unwanted documents.
The event was in partnership with the Operation Santa Claus toy drive, a local organization helping over 3,000 Arizona kids receive toys, food, and clothing during the holidays.

Participants of the Tempe company’s shredathon could have two boxes of unwanted documents securely disposed of with a donation of toys, canned food, or clothing. Anyone who donated was submitted into a raffle to win a Ford F-150 Lighting or a Lincoln Corsair courtesy of Sanderson Lincoln an organizer for Operation Santa Claus.
PROShred Arizona Owners Joe & Patty Caradonna said it was an honor to work with Operation Santa Claus, a nonprofit helping kids have a happy holiday for 23 years.

“Seeing how many people came to our event is such an amazing feeling,” Caradonna said. “So many people donating this holiday season is a reminder that there are still a lot of people who care about helping kids have a great holiday.”
Caradonna also took the time to thank Patrick Heigl and the rest of the team at Sanderson Lincoln for hosting and organizing the event.
“We could not have done this without them,” Caradonna said. “We hope to work with them again next year on an even larger scale.”
Valley residents like Carol Risano were enthusiastic to help kids during the holidays while also getting rid of those unwanted documents taking up space in the house.
“We appreciate this great service and this great cause and we are happy to support it,” Risano said.
The Shredding with Santa event is over but Valley residents can still donate unwrapped toys, children’s clothing, packaged food, or money to Operation Santa Claus until December 20th. Anyone who donates will be entered into the car raffle. Fifteen donors will be selected as finalists and will win a $100 gift card and a key. The finalist with the key that starts the truck will win it. Three finalists will be drawn weekly on ABC15.
