Tempe Closing Rio Salado Both Ways Nightly For Light Rail Repairs
Tempe is closing Rio Salado Parkway both ways nightly, starting tonight, for repairs on the light rail bridge. Here's what to know.

TEMPE, AZ — Construction on the light rail bridge across Tempe Town Lake will close Rio Salado both ways nightly, the city said.
The closures, which will run nightly beginning tonight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., will also close the roundabout at Ash Avenue and Rio Salado.
The project is expected to take about two weeks to complete, with Tempe bus route 48 being detoured during the project's duration.

Starting tonight, Rio Salado will be closed in both directions between Lakeside and the roundabout at First/Ash/Rio for repairs to the light rail bridge.
