The city of Tempe is hosting a Zoom public meeting next Monday at 6 p.m. to discuss its Historic Preservation Plan. Here's what to know.

TEMPE, AZ — The city of Tempe is hosting a Zoom meeting next Monday to discuss updates to its Historic Preservation Plan.
The meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m., is meant to layout the city's blueprint for protecting and enhancing Tempe's historical sites.
The plan, which was established as part of the Tempe Historic Preservation Ordinance in 1995, was last updated in 2000, the city said.

Tempe is looking to update the two-page document to better protect the city's historical assets by using the most up-to-date methods.

Comments on the updated plan will be open to the public from April 26-May 10, the city said.
