Tempe Man Dies After Running Into Traffic On The Freeway: DPS
A man died after running into traffic on the U.S. 60 freeway in Tempe, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
TEMPE, AZ — A man was killed after running into traffic on a Tempe freeway, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said Thursday.
Officials said the fatal crash occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on the U.S. 60 near Priest Drive. The man had been in a single-car crash and fled the scene. He was hit by a car and died.
The department of public safety did not release the man's name or any other details. The driver of the car that hit him was not injured.

The crash and investigation closed the both the on and off Interstate-10 ramps for several hours but they have since reopened, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
